Lift Chair Rentals: Find the Right Fit

A lift chair gives you a comfortable place to sit and recline, then gently raises to help you move from sitting to standing. Many customers rent one while recovering at home from surgery or an injury. Always follow your care team’s instructions for sitting, standing and resting.

Many customers use a recliner for overnight rest during recovery. The right sleeping position depends on your procedure, so check with your surgeon first. If they recommend a particular position, let us know and we can help you compare chairs with the features you need.

Start with your height and the chair’s seat dimensions. Then consider whether you’d like features such as an independently adjustable backrest and footrest, headrest support or heat. If you’re unsure, select Help Me Decide on the chair request form, and we’ll help narrow down your options.

You can send us a request as soon as you have a preferred delivery date. We’ll contact you by the next business day to confirm availability, delivery details and next steps.

You can find available rental periods and prices on each chair’s page. If you’re unsure how long you’ll need it, tell us your expected dates when you submit your request. If your plans change, contact us to ask about extending your rental.

Yes. We deliver the chair, place it where you’ll use it and pick it up when your rental ends. We serve the East Bay and surrounding Bay Area. Delivery and pickup rates vary by city and are listed on our delivery page.

Regular delivery includes up to two exterior steps and one exterior carry of up to 75 feet. Additional stairs and long exterior carries may have extra fees, which apply separately to delivery and pickup. See the delivery details and tell us about any access concerns when you request your chair.

Please clear a path and make space where you’d like the chair placed. Our delivery team will put the chair in its intended location, but they cannot move or remove other furniture or household items.
